I am Yakama. I know of the Umtuch family actually it is quite common. My cousin's family might touch on that family.

Let me know who you are looking for exactly and maybe my cousin can help.

I have another cousin who does geneology as a hobby. She has acess to a lot of old records.

I am looking for any information on the Milton Family. My boyfriend is Gene Burton Milton and he was told that his GGrandfather was chief of that tribe. His fathers name is Charles Milton (Chuck). Gene B Milton was born in Centraila, Wa. Lewis county, he also remembers his grandparents living there but cant remember there names (for sure). Any help on this would be great! Does anyone know who the chief of the Yakima Tribe was in the early nineteen hundreds? Was there a Chief Milton?.
Thank you for any help!
Gene Milton, Margie Steinke (vinzant)
