I am interested in information on George Washington Hobbs Family. George was born in Missouri 1833, married Elizabeth Ann Morgan 1857 Illinios, then to Anna Rebecca Moore 1880. Children; Martha Ellen born 1858 Illinios, and James Martin born 1863. Moved to Garfield. Rebecca had 6 children, one of them being Fannie the youngest. James and Fannie were married 1886 and had 6 children. Check, Edith, Doddie, Arden, Bessie and Marjorie.
Check and siblings moved to Alberta,Canada. Some stayed and others moved back to California. My husband and I farm on the land they homesteaded. Would be interested in knowing more about their lives in Garfield.
