You probably have this information, but others researching might not. I like to save them the steps.

The 1880 Census for North Yam Hill, Yamhill County, Oregon, enumerated 8 June
Orville Stewart age 32 (1847-1848)
Marcia W, age 28 (1851-1852), to both parents born in Illinois.
Winnie Stewart age 6 (born from June 9 1873 to June 8 1874)

The 1885 Washington Territorial Census, enumerated 17 June.
Orville Steward 37
Marcia 32
Winnie 11.

By the 1887 census Winnie would have only been 13-14 years., enumerated 4th of April. So, I doubt that she had gotten married by then, but it did happen.

Yes, Whitman County GS has the death records, but don't buy it.

The 1910 Census for Checowan, Yamhill County, Oregon
Marcia W Stewart, age 52, born in Oregon to father born in Pennsylvania, mother in Illinois.

Marcia W. Stewart died in Portland on 7 May 1923. Certificate 1195

The Washington Death Certificates from 1907 did not show Orville.

I searched the 1900 census for ANY Marcia, any Stewart, any Steward, any Stuart, any "Stew*" (where * is wildcard). I searched for birth plus minus of 5 years for 1852. I just didn't find her.

For Winnie. I don't "assume" anything, but her age "indicates" a death. If we had her date of birth, that would allow for some wildcard searches in the 1900 census. If we could find Marcia in the 1900 census, that would help a great deal. She lived in Yamhill County, then returned by 1910. Did she have her own family there, or his family there, or just returned. They had left Yamhill by 1885, so, they could have returned as early as 1887/1888. So, they could have only been gone for a couple of years. If Orville had died just after the 1887 census, Marcia was only 35. I can't see a 35 year old not remarrying back then, but it did happen.

I checked the Bureau of Land Management land records (Homestead Act) for Washington and Oregon, no results.

So, you still need help.
The Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness has volunteers in Multnomah County, (Portland), http://www.raogk.org/oregon3.htm that could look for Marcia's obituary. Bear it in mind, back then, obits were not as common. Plus, if she had no family to pay for one, there will not be one.

There isn't a volunteer in Yamhill County. There is one in Whitman, but he only does gravestone photographs.

Anyway, I tried.
