My grandfather Walter Baker & grandmother Julia Jessop, left Gaspé Quebec to live in Bellingham in late 1800s-early 1900. One daughter, Alma Agnes, was born there in 1912. This is the info I find on ancestry.com-
Washington Births, 1907-1919
about Agnue Alice Baker

Altho' the names aren't recorded correctly, this is definitely my Aunt Alma. What I would so much appreciate is if someone might be able to look up Alma's official birth record and tell me where they were living? Grandfather Walter Baker operated a hotel ( boarding house?) in Bellingham for a short while. I would be ' over the moon ' if I could ever find out which one and any more info! :-)Please have a look at my web site if you need more information www.bakerchild.tribalpages.com.There are other Gaspé folk who settled in Bellingham area on this site! Thanx in advance!
