I'm sorry about getting in the wrong state. This is the first time I have used this service. The information I am searching for is someone born in NJ and moved to OK in the late 1800's. It has nothing to do with anyone in Washington State. Thank you for your effort. My husband, Bruce E. Doremus was born in Enid, OK on 5 Oct 1925- ) to Albert E Doremus (5 Mar 1899-Apr 1981) Albert known as "Bert" was born in Enid Oklahoma and lived there his entire life. His father Albert C Doremus was called "Al". He was born in New Jersey Sep 1872 and died in Enid, Oklahoma.I do not have his dod. I do not know the date he moved to OK from NJ. He married Julia LNUK in 1895. She was born in KS. (1877-1904) I first find the couple in OK on the 1900 Census; then Julia died in 1904 and he married Cora LNUK in 1905. She was born in 1886. He had nine children with Cora and three with Julia. My husband's father-Albert E Doremus was Julia's & Albert C's child. Albert C died in Enid and I have been unable to find his dod. Albert C's father was Cecil Leroy Doremus born in New Jersey and both his parents born in NJ. I have a 1927 picture of him which lists he is 86 years old which would make his birth date 1841. I know that he had another son besides Albert C that lived in Sapulpa OK but do not know his name. Most of the Doremus men in Enid worked on the Frisco Railroad.
