Surnames: Nassa, Rasmussen, Lyse, Potter
Researching the family of John T. Nassa (Stavanger, Norway) and Carrie (Karen) Rasmussen (Lyse Farm, Naerstrand, Norway) who settled in Cathlamet around 1880. John was a mayor of Cathlamet around 1908. Their home still stands behind the Nassa Point Motel. My wife is a great-great granddaughter of John and Carrie.
