I would like to know if anyone out there knows of the John Johnson Berg family that lived in Skamokawa in the 1880s or 1890s. The names are John and Effie(Roberts) Berg and daughter Olava Leavy Berg. Another daughter Laura was born there I believe in 1883 or 4. They later moved to LaCenter.

I have checked most of my sources and can not find those names. Have you looked in Westport Oregon. I know many were there for a time.
Most of the ones I find in Skamokawa came around 1900 to 1910. if you would like a list of those names let me know. I will check next time I am at the Wahkiakum County Court house for more information.

Thanks, I would like the names of any other Bergs in the area. I was in Skamakawa a few years back and read somewhere that there were other Bergs and I thought maybe they were relatives as my Bergs came out from Wisconsin and I was wondering why they would go there. I also have Moes from the same area.
