Burns to Death: Mrs. Mary
Myers, 86, Returns to House to Get Money
Colville, Wash., April 28. – Mrs. Mary
Myers, 86, was burned to death on Monday at
Ford, Wash. She had escaped from the burning home with her son and his wife soon after the fire broke out. She reentered the burning building presumably for some money she had hidden in her room. Her absence was not discovered for some time. Her body was found on the second floor, where her room was. Funeral services were conducted at
Ford. She is survived also by two daughters. The fire loss was $3000.
