Samuel A. CHAMBERLAIN/Chamberlin was born March 1825 in Maine to James and Mary (Peterson) Chamberlain. He married Eliza Hannah BRIDGES, June 1848 in Penobscot County, Maine. They died in Colville, Stevens County WA. Samuel in January of 1907 and Eliza in 1902. They are both buried in Evergreen, Colville Pioneer Cemetery. They had the following known kids: Francena (Josephine Mary) m. August MABUS/Mobus December 10, 1869 in Chatham Township, Wright County, MN and had two kids with August (August Jr. and Charles) and left August when Charles was only 2 yrs. of age (approx 1879). But the only information that I find for her after this is that she died in northern MN. I thought I might give it a shot and see if she MAY have followed her father's family out west (?)

Rueben Chamberlain was born July 21, 1856 in MN and married a lady by the name of Hattie (last name unknown). He died May 4, 1890 in Colville Steven's County, WA. Buried in Evergreen, Colville Pioneer Cemetery.

Sarah Chamberlain was born May 12, 1859 in MN and married Hugh WEIR in 1886. She died sometime after 1896. Hugh WEIR was born December 24, 1842 in WV.

Lucy M. CHAMBERLAIN was born August 8, 1864 in MN. She married William H. WRIGHT in 1883 in Colville, Stevens County, WA. She died in 1945 in Colville, Stevens County, WA and is buried in Colville, Stevens County, WA. William was born June 1834 in NY. and died 1928 in Colville, Stevens County, WA. They had these kids - Roda, Alma, Samuel, Norman (nickname Mike), Lottie, Cora, and Bill.

Mary was born August 12, 1866 in MN. She first married a Alfred Green in August 21, 1881 in Wright County, MN and had one child by the name of Edith. Then she married James D. Burris on April 21, 1894 in Colville, Stevens County, WA and had one more child by the name of James O. born 1898, he died 1966 and is buried in Colville, Stevens County, WA. I do not know when Mary died but her 2nd husband died in 1961 and is buried in Colville, Stevens County, WA.

Charles Andrew was born January 8, 1868 in MN. He married Mable Fogg December 18, 1893 in Colville, Stevens County, WA. They had the following kids - James David, Blanch May, Oscar Charles, Roy Ellis, Inez Lillian. Charles died in the 1920's or 1930's in Spokane, WA. Mable died November 1948 in Colville and is buried in Colville.

George was born about 1869 in MN and died sometime before 1896.

I went to school in Colville. The Chamberlins are still a HUGE family there. Do you know what faith your family was? The group I went to school with are Mormon. Don Chamberlin owned the local print shop. If this sounds like the family you are looking for, let me know. My mother still lives there, I can come up with addresses and phone numbers for you. There are Burris' in Pend Oreille County. And there is a large family of Wright's around Loon Lake\\Deer Park\\Newport area of south Stevens County

Hi I'm trying to find information for a Harold L. Burris that lived in Colville, Wash. He was born around 1922. Can you help me out. I believe he died in Bucoda, Thurston, Wash. Do you remember this family in Colville by any chance. Thank you, Gary Lantrip

The only thing I have on the Burris family is Mary Chamberlin married James in 1894 in Colville, he was the son of Sylvestor and Margarett Carroll, and died in 1961 in WA. They had one child named James also that was born 1898 in WA and died 1966 in Addy, Stevens County, WA.

I need to get death certificate info or obits . . .
