I came across a wonderful book in the Gresham, Oregon reference library by Daphne Ramsey, called "Skamania County Washington Births 1893-1926. She stated in the Preface of her book, that not all deaths were recorded during those days. She has about 39 pages listing names and information about parents. She must have spent many hours recording this information to help people find their ancestors. Bless her.

My gr gr grandfather was Stark M. Eddings and the woman that he married was Anna Thurber

I looked once more in the book but I did not see any Eddings mentioned in the births from 1893 to 1926. I did a little research through census records and on the Family History site. I did not find anyone by the name of Stark Eddings. I did find the following. I felt you could look through them and see if any are relatives.

Can you find BRIGGS in this book? 1920 census has J?? F BRIGGS with his 4 children living in Stevenson. The youngest is MARGRETT born WA, she is 2. Probably 1917.

For some reason, I was never notified that you posted a query requesting information. I am sorry that it has taken me so long to get back to you. I looked in the book and I did not find any Briggs mentioned. I also checked the Washington Digital Archives that listed many Briggs, but I did not find a child born in 1919 as Margrett was. I noticed that there is a son in the household (possibly Oskar) who is indexed as being 4 months old born in Colorado and Margrett is indexed to be 2 months born in Washington. That doesn't seem to make sense.
