Hi, no, I do not have a John Howell in my data base, but I went to ancestry.com, and someone has a tree online there with your John being the son of James Howell (b. 1803 TN) & Mary (last name unknown) They have James and Mary the parents of John (m. to Lucinda Anderson), Andrew, Lucinda (b. 25 Aug. 1825 IN), & Kate (b. 1838 in OH) Hope this helps.
