Surnames: Johnston, Tenner
I am searching for John Johnston who was married to Jean Tenner & they were living in Anacortes, WA in June 1959 (according to Jean's brother, John's obituary). It is actually the Tanner family I am searching for which in this case name changed to Tenner. It has been a very difficult family to track as I have very little knowledge. Jean was born in North Dakota about 1921 (likely near Oberon, Benson Co.). Her father was born in MI & her mother in WI. By 1930 census the Tenner family was in Bayfield Co., WI. It is the 1959 obituary that led me to Anacortes, WA & she was married to John Johnston by then. I located a death for a John W. Johnston through the Social Security Death index giving a birthdate of Sep 24 1911 & death date Dec 26 1988. His residence was given as Sedro Woolley, Skagit, WA 98284. This area appears to be quite close to a possible brother-in-law, Einer Ludwigson. I do not know for certain that this is the correct John nor that Einer is the correct person but everything matches quite well. I have not been able to locate either John's wife, Jean nor Einer's wife. Would any of this sound familiar to your findings so far possibly???? Thank you.
