Wondering if I can get someone to find and send me the obit for Martha Sharon Hoglund d 25 Jan 2009 Puyallup, WA. She was my husband's last surviving aunt and we didn't find out until today that she had died. Would really appreciate this. More than happy to look something up in return as I subscribe to Ancestry, World Vital Records, & Footnote. Or I can do something in the Iroquois Co., IL area.

The Social Security Death Index shows Martha Sharon Hoglund, born 3 Feb 1929, died 25 January 2009. The "Last Residence" was shown as Puyallup, Pierce Co, Washington. The "Last Residence" on the SSDI is NOT always where the person actually lived.

WWW.zabasearch.com shows only one Hoglund living in Puyallup. You might write to that person.

Now, you indicate she was the last surviving aunt. Do you KNOW she died in Puyallup or just from the SSDI data. If she DID live in Puyallup and there was no family member in the area, or no family member to pay for an obit, one would not have been published. MANY elderly do not have obits published for one reason or another.

Thank you for the information. I got the death date and last residence from SSI after we found out she was dead. We were assuming she was living with a daughter. Don't know for sure. I will try back in MT where she spent much of her life. Again, thanks for the help.
