I want to thank you for your lengthy submission on Mary Ann (Mamie) Chamney who married Ewing Giles. The confusion may be that Mary Ann's parents may have adopted, whether unofficially or officially, a daughter named Maud Ross who was living with the Chamneys in Arizona. I am firmly convinced now that the descendants who lived in Tacoma, Washington, were from Maud and her, as yet unknown, husband. Mary Ann and Ewing of Los Angeles were definitely my people. Mary Ann's only child died in Arizona.

This would explain my lack of information, as you pointed out to me, however, the few details that I supplied may have rung a bell with someone and it was with that thought in mind that I made my submission.
