Carlton P. HYDE
Carlton P. HYDE (aka Carl P. or C.P.) appeared twice in the 1920 U.S. Washington Census. Once in Pend Orielle County and once in Kitsap County. He was age 68 in both (if they were the same person?). He may have had a daughter Nellie A. (CHRISTY, but not sure).
He moved to Thurston Co. WA from Jackson Co WI with his elderly mother and some siblings. I have found him in early WA State Censuses and the 1900 & 1910 U.S. Washington Census.
He was son of Joel Hyde and Sally (aka Sallie) Newton. Siblings in WA were Truman, Francis (Frank), Samuel, Lois (SNABEL, BROWN), Emma Alice (EVERSON, NICHOSON).
Please add responses if you have further info on Carlton. I write bio sketches on the descendants of Reuben and Eunice Manley and put them on my free website at www.myronnewton.com . I am presently working to expand the Hyde line of this family. Thanks.
