Looking for anyone researching or related to the Wade families. Moved from Nova Scotia and settled in several cities around Pacific Co (off the top of my head... Long Beach, Nachotta, Ilwaco, and South Bend, though there are others). Would love to eventually get in touch with some long lost cousins.

You can request copies of their obituaries from the Washington State Library, www.secstate.wa.gov/library/ask.aspx . They will search for 60 minutes at no charge & reply with what they do or don't find.

After I receive an obituary, I use www.whitepages.com or www.zabasearch.com to find current contact info for survivors. You might have to find obituaries for their children. The above mentioned Death Index only goes through 1960. Successful Searching!

The 1900 Census for Aberdeen, Chehalis County, Washington

Edith, born July 1881, 18, born in Iowa to both parents born in Iowa

I found the family tree owned by a "SGuze0210". I don't know if this is you or not as you don't have an online profile. This person also doesn't have an online email address. (WHY do people do this? Genealogy is FOR connections). She identified Richard Wade was born 26 May 1880 in Nova Scotia and died 4 July 1970 at Fort Bragg, Menocino, CA.
She further identified Benjamin Franklin Wade born 4 Aug 1856 in Nova Scotia, died 4 April 1933 in Ocean Park, Pacific Co, WA. He married Edith Dimock on 15 Nov 1877 inNewport, Nova Scotia. They had children:
DeWolf
Richard 1880 to 1970
Alice 1884 to 1949
Ruth Cameron 1885 to 1958
Benjamin Franklin Wade 1889 to 1980
George 1891 to 1968
Naomi 1893 to 1937.
--This person has extensive records on children of the above. I sent a message for her to look at this thread, and contact you. If you have access to Ancestry.com, here is the location of the tree:

Another person, Fetterolfmer181, Dauphin, Pennsylvania also had extensive information. Fetterolfmer@comcast.net

Hey Ron, thanks for the info. I do have lot of info on the actual Wades, was hoping for other folks who were related to connect with. I guess I didn't realize I don't have a profile here, but I am wadergirl on Ancestry.com I haven't had any luck contacting people through there in the past, but I'll definately try again. Thank you.
