I used to hunt on Cap Wright with my dad and brother, we took a lot of mule deer bucks off that hill. There was an old homestead sight at the base of the hill in a couple of places. There was also an old mine shaft at the top of the hill that went straight down for about 30 ft, somebody had tried to cover it at one time. Lots of rattle snakes in this area. I doubt if there is much of anything left of the old homestead sights. Check with the Okanogan Courthouse maybe they can help or check the Washington State Archives.
