Mrs Leslie Dies at Omak Friday, Funeral Services for mother of B.A. Cast held at Yarwood's Monday.
Funeral Services for Mrs Elinora [nee: Torbet] Leslie, 65, were held yesterday morning at the Yarwood Funeral Parlors, Okanogan, with the Rev. Duncan Matheson in charge. Mrs Leslie died Friday morning at the Omak Hospital following several months of failing health.
Mrs Leslie was born at Milford, Illinois, in 1867. She came to Washington with her family in 1901 and resided here until 1907. A few years ago she returned to Omak, residing here with her son, Burton.A. Cast.
Mrs Leslie leaves five children, a brother, and a sister. Two daughters and a son, Mrs Fred Sherwood, Mrs John Couch, and Carl Cast reside at Emmett, Idaho. Another son, Frank lives in Huntington, California. A sister, and brother, Mrs Emma Bookwalter and John Torbet, are at Milford, Illinois.
Mrs Leslie's death Friday morning came as a shock to her friends and acquaintances as she was reported resting easily the evening before. Interment was made in Okanogan Cemetery. [A daughter, Alma Grace (Cast) Coffey died in June 1931 in Emmett, Idaho]
