In 1965 there is an article in the Eureka newspaper about Dee Nelda Dibble who was a missionary for the LDS church. It stated that her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Dibble, were missionaries in Washington state, and she was educated at Nehalem, Oregon, but born in Long Beach, CA.

Dee Nelda Dibble was born Oct 2, 1940 Los Angeles Co.

Howard, it looks like your next move would be to request an obituary for Warren and Violet to trace the survivors:
http://www.raogk.org/californ.htm

There are several volunteers listed for Humboldt Co. (If you aren't familiar with RAOGK, they have a FAQ's page.)

Let me know if you have any questions or need further assistance.

Thank YOU again!
Laura
