Ron,
Thank you so very much for the great information. When you found Maude Poor (Jack's 1st wife) dying in 1922 with the last name Christ (Criss) I knew that was correct and it answered my question as to why he was with a 'Lilly' in 1930 census. Then you when mentioned a Lillian Mae I was able to connect the information I was getting from my aunt in Illinois that Jack's 2nd wife was "May". The Ruth appearing as his spouse on his 1942 DC threw me, so I made another phone call and my aunt, bless her soul only answers direct questions and fails to offer supplemental information, confirmed that he married a 3rd time to a woman she thought was named 'Ruby' or 'Rudy'. I asked if she could have been Ruth, God love her, my aunt said, "Ya know, sugar, I think that was her name!"
I thank you so very much for all your help and great contact information. I have been so focused on the midwest states for research, that I hadn't familarized myself with other states and agencies. A job well-done for you in furthering my knowledge!
I did put in a request on raogk to the John that does the obits & the photos, but have yet to hear back from him. I'll give it a few more days and resend the request, then may have to give it over to the Washington State Library.
Thanx, again!
