Grays Harbor County WA, where Cosmopolis is located, was called Chehalis County from its formation in 1854 until it changed its name in 1915. The county seat is Montasano. The City of Chehalis WA is the seat of Lewis County, SE of Grays Harbor. Obviously, the names are still causing confusion 98 years later. Hope this helps.
