Woman Slain; In-Law Sought
BREMERTON, April 10. - (UP)
The wife of a Puget Sound Navy Yard worker was found shot to death early today and authorities began a search for her father-in-law, who indicated in a note found by the body that he planned to commit suicide.
The victim was Mrs. Lillian Williams, 57 years old, whose body was found by her husband, W. W. Williams, who returned home from working on the Navy Yard swing shift at 1:30 a.m.
Prosecuter Fred Cohen said the slaying apparently occurred at about 6:30 o'clock last night. He said elderly Dan Williams, who lived with his son and daughter-in-law, told police in a note not to look for him, "for I will be a corpse."
The Williams home is at Gragaria in Southern Kitsap County, 12 miles from Port Orchard, the county seat.

I looked for followup articles on Dan Williams but nothing appeared in 1942 for Dan Williams in the Seattle Daily Times.
