While the "Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness" website is down, I am willing to do some digging into Kitsap County records (birth, death, & marriage/divorce which occured in the last 36 months) at the Kitsap County Department of Health Offices in Bremerton, WA.
Namasté, “PJ”
PS: A number of years ago, in 2004, under the direction of Washington Secretary of State, Sam Reed -- all birth, marriage/divorce & death records are to be kept in the county of origin for three years. After that time, they are forwarded to the State Department of Health in Olympia to be entered into the Washington Didgital Archives.
You can search this online database {
http://www.digitalarchives.wa.gov/} -- just enter the name of the person you are looking for (e.g., just entering the LAST name will get you the most responses; adding a given name will narrow the list of results in all available categories.)
If the record you are looking for is more than 36 months old, you can most likey find the information you need at the above site. If you want to order a "hard copy" of any record, you can call the Washington Department of Health in Olympia at 360/236-4300.
