Classification: Query
Surnames: Poor Poore
I have very little information on this branch.
Frank Poor b, Jan 1900 in Belleview, IL
married Mary E. abt 1922 somewhere in WA, probably in Island County. Mary b, abt 1900 in Iowa.
1930 census for Frank & Mary in Island County shows:
Frank: age 29
Mary: wife/age 30
Francis S: son/6
Archie A: son/4 & 7mns (puts him born abt Sep 1925)
Robert E: son/2 & 5mns
Eugene R: son/ 4mns
Frank's parents were Allen Poor & Eliza Olive Heavner of Pike Co., IL.
I found possible references to Frank & his brother Jack in the Seattle newspapers in the late 1930's-1960's, but also find reference to a Mrs. Jack Poor in the Centralia newspapers.
Have an SSDI for an Archie Poor who died in Seattle May 1978 with DOB as 3 Aug 1925.
I would assume with all the kids being born in the late 20's and possible some more in the early 30's that many may still be alive.
Any help that can be offered is greatly appreciated!
