Chauncy Silver. Drowned in Cowlitz River
After several years of looking I found a death record for my great-uncle Chauncy Silver. He died of drowning in 1943--the family said in the Willamette. He didn't--he died in the Cowlitz 23 april 1943. Can some one tell me what newspapers in that area might have carried the story?
I know very little about Uncle Chauncy (who also used John)
