Hi Cousin Danielle,
Glad to make your aquaintenance. Your Embree family lines go way back in American history to the east coast and New England states prior to our Revolution. I am at present not at a computer that has my files on it or I could tell you more.
An Embree clock is on display in the White House, built by Effingham Embree. Elihu Embree was an early Abolishonist in the early 19th century - Embreeville, Tennessee is named for him. His brother is the namesake for Embreeville, Pennsylvania.
