I knew Derescus Ritchie, also know to me as Great Uncle Dee
His parents were Noah and Clarinda Ritchie, (Murphy)
Noah's father was Moses Richie. They both died in Minnesota, Noah 1942. My grandmother was Derescus sister.
There were many siblings.
You might want to check to see how much you can find on Albert Cabell Ritchie, Govenor of Maryland, he is a cousin.
His father was Albert Richie also. Cabell came from the sons mothers maiden name.
