I've noticed there are several CURLING researchers on this message board but they seem to be working early 1800's onward. Has anyone been able to tie these "later" CURLINGS to the earlier generation that was there mid 1600's to late 1700's?
I am descended from a Joseph CURLING Sr. b. 1646 St. Peter, Isle of Thanet, Kent, England and who immigrated to VA mid 1660's. He had at least 1 daughter, 4 sons - I am descended from son Anthony CURLING Sr. b.c. 1670-1689 St. Bride's Parish, Norfolk Co.
I have a fairly good trail from them down but there are connected families in Norfolk Co. that others are descended from. I'd like to understand these relationships!
Thanks, KIM
