I'm trying to find out about the "New Norfolk Company" . A Rev. George White brought over a group from the UK somewhere around 1634 and settled in the Norfolk/Nansemond area.. I have information that our branch of the "White" family is directly connected to this Rev. George White. A Thomas Cutchins was one of the individuals that came over with him. Any additional info would be appreciated.

I have been looking for the same thing. What I am beginning to think is Rev George White lived in New Norfolk County now Nansemond County. Co. being confused with company. He may have been a "sponsor" for lack of a better word. He seems to have owned and sold land in the area. Just a theory but the more I look the more sense it makes.I can not find any record of a New Norfolk Company. Anyone else have any ideas.
