I am asking for your help in the Fairfax area. I have a distant relative, Merle Ernest Goddard who died in Fairfax according to the Social Security Death Index in July of 1977. Born in Illinois, Chicago to be exact, on June 21, 1914 to Herbert and Addie (McCanna) Goddard. I'm trying to track down his obituary, place of burial or any family he might have had. I'm not familiar with the area of Fairfax, so would appreciate any pointers.
