There is NO Catherine Denton/Denston in this Rogers tree.

We now have our DNA documentation to prove that Adduston Rogers and Catherine Doswell were the parents of Doswell Rogers. However I have records which prove that Catherine was alive in Goochland Co. VA in 1749. She died AFTER Adduston who died in 1747.

We only have proof that Doswell was married to an Ann (unknown) in 1792 when her name appears on 2 deed records in Wythe Co. VA. There are no recorded birth, death, or marriage records for her. There is NO record of Doswell marrying a Catherine Denton. Just another MYTH.
