I would like to speak to anyone who may have known or be descended from George Comins, b ~ 1898. Here is what I know about this man:

He was born in Greece or Turkey and emigrated to NYC to join his father (of the same name) aboard the Martha Washington in 1914
He enlisted in 1917 in Jefferson Banks MO and served in the army motor corps in Camp Gordon Georgia. He attained the rank of corporal before discharge in 1919. (army serial # 1,990,078)
He was naturalized in 1923. By then he had returned to New York City.
He married my grandmother, Eva Aaronson (later Eva Stade) in 1926.
He became a father when Eva gave birth to my father, George Stade, on November 25, 1933.
He died in 1943.

Any military records about him were destroyed in a 1973 fire. I am hoping someone might know him or have heard of him through relatives. Here are photos of this man.
