Martha Watkins Freeman (b. 12/8/1802 in Poquoson, VA) was the daughter of William Watkins and Anna Rawlins, also of Poquoson (York County). She married John Freeman on 6/17/1822. According to Vincent Watkins, a descendant, there was a family Bible in the possession of John and Martha's son, Thomas Freeman and his wife Elizabeth Lawson of Poquoson. The Bible contained a lot of info about William Watkins and his family, so it might have contained information about the Freeman side of the family as well, Thomas and Elizabeth had 4 children - William T., Martha V., Mary E., and John Freeman - and maybe one of their descendants has the Bible. Or a copy may be in the Poquoson Genealogy Room. I hope this info helps.
