Now, I was just messaging with another researcher this am who also has William Moore as son of Sampson Moore and William's wife as Elizabeth Muncey. They tell me that they believe William died in Lewis County, Kentucky...where they find him and Elizabeth in the 1860 census. He is unfound in the 1870 census (so are my Moores)....and in 1880, Elizabeth is back in Martin County, Kentucky with her son, Wesley. Well, I checked that out and there is an Elizabeth Moore in the 1880 census for Martin County. She is in the household of her son Wesley. Consequently, she and Wesley are on page 5 and my Samuel is on page 6...I have over 1800 acres of land grants for him in that area...this is another good sign that they may be related....
