Also, William Moore was a chain carrier on a land survey in 1853 for a grant for Samuel Moore for land in Floyd County, Kentucky on lands that eventually became Martin County....some of this land is still owned by the family today....so, maybe this is another clue? I was wanting to explore this connection...I think we may be onto something here....where do you have William living during this timeframe?
