My Uncle, James Robert Hunnicutt has given me an old newspaper having an obituary of James Sinclair Hunnicutt of Tama Cty, Iowa. Would you be interested in receiving a copy?

Also, I am fairly sure that his father was Thomas Hunnicutt, b 9/11/1794 in Prince George Cty, VA. It seems likely that Thomas was married to one of the daughters of George Sinclair of Belmont Cty, Ohio, but can't determine which one.

Thomas Hunnicutt moved to Belmont Cty, Ohio in 1806 or 07, according to records of the Blackwater Monthly Meeting in Virginia and Concord Monthly Meeting records of Ohio. See Hinshaw's early Quaker records. He can be found in 1810 and 1820 census records living with Micajah Bailey (his sister's husband) and Phebe Sinclair respectively.
