The 1900 census shows Henry Mason and his wife Amanda (Yellowby/Yeleday) living in Newsoms. By 1910, they had ten surviving children: Lou, Robert, Emma Jean, James, Estella, Andrew, Virgie L, Rosie M, Clarence, and Alphonse. Henry and Amanda migrated to Virginia from Halifax, North Carolina. Virgie married Garland Porter and they had three or four sons. I would appreciate any information.
