I am searching for any information I can find for my wife on her father .He was part Indian and as a young boy he lived with a family named Collins and took on the name of Grover Cleveland Collins. He was born about 1893 in or around Logan or Lexington, Kentucky. Places he may have lived is Williamson, Delorme or Matewan W. V. His first wife's name unknown. Some of their children's names are Ted , Mac, Less, Jess, Katherine, Bessie, Annie, and possibly more. His second wife was Leona Robinette. Their children were Loney, Virginia, Hannah, Charles, Birchie, Cora, Shirley, and Grover Cleveland Oscar. Any information will be greatly appreciated.

I am the granddaughter of a Grover Cleveland Collins. I was told that he was half Cherokee, but am not sure since I have not been successful in tracing his family. I do know that he was married before he married my grandmother, and I was told that he had a daughter and a son with a woman in Detroit. This man seems to have dropped in from outerspace because I sure can't trace very much about him. Not sure my Grover is the one you are looking for, but if so, I at least have his parents names, and a few of his siblings.
