Hey there!

This is great...I did have both women and Lawrence County. For Thursa (Thirsey), I only had the year.

For Mary Maynard (Mainard)--I had the full date.

However, what is now interesting...is this. I had heard there was a handwritten permission slip for Thirsey to get married that was signed by John Hardin as her father. I also found that one of the chain carriers for the survey on at least one of Samuel Moore's land grants was John Hardin.

It is very interesting to see that John Hardin actually witness the marriage to Mary Maynard now....hmmm....btw...where do you find these references online? Or did you just have it in your records already? I would eventually like to go make copies when I go back for the reunion this year...are they still on file with Lawrence (the land he acquired eventually became Martin County).
