No it isn't marked...and you will have to park in the persons driveway at the house that is right beside it so it may be a good idea to knock on the door and let them know why you are there. The last time I was there about five years ago there was a really nice young lady that was renting the house.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! I have been searching online for my gg mother's burial place for a couple years. I found gg father's and his 2nd wife, but not the 1st wife whom I was interested in. On an off chance today (and really doing nothing special, just farting around) I found her in an old book and it gave the name of the cemetery. Could not find the cemetery on any maps or findagrave, etc. But your gps coords found it for me! You truly have no idea how thrilled I am!! Now I can take my Dad and show him his grand mother's burial place.
I am truly grateful.
Susan

I have been told a cousin, Margaret Kay Kinsey born 1911, married a man named Robert Quesenberry, probably around 1927 to mid 1940s in Pulaski County. I would like to find proof , but I live in Illinois and the Pulaski County clerk told me marriages are not listed alphabetically, but by date. I have no way to look for this. Does anyone here know of this man, woman, or marriage? I would like very much to get a copy of it and/or the divorce. Margaret lived in Pulaski almost all of her life.
Thank you very much,
Shelley

Thank you so much for the offer.!! I am looking for the burial of a Margaret Kay Kinsey Williams born about JAN 23, 1911. She married Alfred Homer Williams in the late 40s and he died in 1951. He is buried in Oakwood Cemetery in Pulaski, so is her brother Eugene Kinsey and her mother Addye Martin Kinsey, but no one seems to be able to tell me where Margaret is buried. She died before her father in 1965,yet still shows up in the Southwest Times newspapers thru 1958, so her death would have occurred somewhere between 1958 and 1965.Bless your heart if you find her!
Thanks ever so much for looking!
Shelley

Silly question, but do you know if those are all (or at least most) of the burials listed there? I was going through them yesterday.. hadn't seen any names I recognized yet. Some of these cemeteries (or at least the lists provided by historical societies) are not complete. I have a cemetery list in front of me from Bluefield WV, and there are plenty of names missing. :( What makes it difficult is that Virginia records are not as easily available as West Virginia (which is so disappointing!), so I have a lot of death dates missing for VA ancestors. Thanks for your help.

Am wondering if you have notice of a burial for a woman who went by several different names. She is my great grandmother. Her names: Leah Mary ( nee Silvers)Kidd, Mary Leah (Silvers) Kidd, Mary Leona (Silvers) Kidd or Leona Mary (Silvers) kidd. She was born 1859 in either Montgomery County or Pulaski County Va. She married William Parris Kidd 22 Dec 1881 and died during the period of 1897-1899. I use these dates as referenced by the birth of her children. She died in Pulaski County.
Her husband is sometimes erroneously reported as William Robert Kidd. That was the name of one of her sons. I have also seen him listed as William Ferris Kidd. Guess the census enumerator did not hear well and Parris sounded like Ferris.
I have looked through various databases for the various names I have given you for Leah, but as I live in NC the Pulaski County lists are unavailable to me.
I would very much appreciate it if you would see if your list included her and where she might be buried and any other data listed.
Thank you so very much,
Susan

She died August 13-14 1910 in Pulaski, VA. from "palegra". Her husband was Samuel L.
Have you ever heard of a Glendy cemetery in the Back Creek section of Pulaski County? I am interesting in knowing the location and if, perhaps, the name of the cemetery has been changed.

I wonder if anyone could go to the court house for me and look at the death register for Sarah Hawley(Holly) and her husband Francis Marion Hawley. Sarah hawley was dead in 1902 and Francis passed away after 1920. Francis was alive for the 1920 census. The state of Va awouldn't accept my Drivers license from Az.for ID??? I would like a copy of the death certificate or at least the info off the register.
Would pay anyone for this service.

Thanks,
Lova Hawley Overholts

According to "Early Adventures on the Western Waters" Richard Whitt purchased the land that included the Ferry, but no record that they operated the Ferry. "Vol I" by Mary B Kegley.
