Charles Dallas Green, Sr., 63, of Powhatan, died October 2, 2009.

He is survived by his wife, Jean M. Green; two sons and their wives, Charles, Jr. and Michele Green, Jason and Tiffany Green; daughter-in-law, Karen Green, mother, Marian S. Green; brother, Larry Green; sister, Darlene Middleton, all of Powhatan; four grandchildren, Chaytor and Ty Green, Jessica and Justin Agcaoili and many other family members. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Green, Jr.; two sons, Joseph Nowlin Green and Robbie E. Green.

The family will receive friends Saturday October 3 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 pm at the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy. (Rt. 60), Powhatan. Funeral services will be held Sunday 2 pm at Powhatan High School. Interment Red Lane Baptist Church Cemetery, Powhatan. In lieu of flowers, contributions may to be made to Dixie Youth Scholarship Fund or Powhatan Youth Athletic Association.
