Harold Clarence Mabe Jr., age 64, of Stuart, died Monday, November 3, 2014, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Carroll County on March 19, 1950.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Mabe Sr.

He was a member of Ross Harbour United Methodist Church and was the owner/operator of Mabe's Home Improvement.

Surviving are his wife, Patsy Blackwell Mabe of the home; one son, Harold Mabe III and fiancée Serena Maddox of Stuart; one daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Jason Bullins of Stuart; five grandchildren, Joseph Mabe, Noah Mabe, Tayman Bullins, Bryson Bullins and Camden Bullins; one great-grandchild, Minetta Randolph; his mother, Golda White Mabe of Stuart; one brother, Gary Mabe of Stuart; and four sisters, Evelyn Ivey of Stuart, Connie Reynolds of Callands, Janice Sanders of Minnesota and Cathy Coleman of Stuart.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Ross Harbour United Methodist Church with Pastor Sandy Wright officiating. Burial will be private.
The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the church and other times at the home.
