Mr. Gaston William Pack, 70, of Claudville, VA passed away Friday, August 22, 2014 at his home.

He was born in Surry County on June 27, 1944 to the late James Washington and Elsie Mae Lawson Pack.

Mr. Pack was a retired logger and was a member of Mayo Mountain Church.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Thomas Pack of the home; daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy and Melvin Bowman of Claudville, Sandy and Chris Walker of Stuart, Shanna Pack and Fiancé James Goins of Claudville; a son, Barry Pack of the home; grandchildren, Nathan Bowman, Izabella Walker; step granddaughter, Stephanie Bowman; a step great grandchild, Jeremiah Bowman; brothers and sisters-in-law, Billy and Charlotte Pack of Cana, Fred and Betty Lawson of Ararat, VA; special; friends, Billy and Lisa Goins of Dry Pond.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Pack was preceded in death by sisters, Virginia Levesque, and Mary Atkins; brothers, Mike, Mark, and Tommy Pack.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 25, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Heath officiating. Burial will follow in Mayo Mountain Church Cemetery.
