Kat,
Totally understand that first grand child spoiling.. was there too. Papa's favorite color was green.. everything he got for me was some shade of green.
Well, I had thought since my Mitchell ancestor was a warden at St Peters, I "assumed" he would be buried there. Have talked to some others who had taken pics there and they dont have any records of Mitchells at that cemetery. So I guess I need to be on the "if I trip over there headstone" group. Here is the info on the ones that I thought were at St Peters:
Thomas Mitchell b 1659 d. 1-6-1736
Mary (Gregory) Mitchell b. 1661 d. 4-2-1727 w/o Thomas
Elizabeth Mitchell b 3-14-1739 d 2-25-1739 granddaug of Thomas & Mary
This is the only family line that Ive had in the New Kent area so Im not sure about other parish's and cemeteries in that area. Will do some more digging and see if I can come up with more clues that I may have missed.. and apparently there are some..:-)
I truly appreciate your efforts on the behafe of those of us who cant get there. Thanks again
Kathy
