O:3 12 Sep 1791 William POLAND, 4 yrs old 10 Apr 1792, to John HOUGHMAN, Jr. Loose Papers: son of Elizabeth Polen
Mrs. Hutchison worked at the courthouse and searched the loose papers on file there for the above information. There would have been no other pertinent information or she would have listed it. More than likely his mother could not afford to raise him.
