The soldier married Eleanor Hardy in Frederick County, Virginia March 28, 1797. In 1832, they were living in Harrison County, [West] Virginia where application was made for pension which was granted in 1833. Supporting was submitted by Robert Parks, Zachariah Hickman, Sam B.
