Can you tell me about the comment you have about "David Moore's [his father] along with his siblings..." I'm researching this Samuel Moore as one of two possible matches for a father for my great grandfather Samuel Moore who was born in Scott County, VA in 1814 (of course, Scott County didn't actually begin functioning as a county until 1815). I've searched the 1820 and 1830 census for possible matches and the only three that had sons the age of my Samuel were Joel, Henry and the Samuel you mention. In 1822, it appears the county lines between Lee and Scott county slightly shifted and Samuel is back in Lee County. I'm very interested in any details on this Samuel...so the commentary on siblings and potential father is interesting...wonder if I might find his children somewhere?
