He had other brothers and sisters. His parents are known to have migrated from Bucks Co., to York Co., Pa. to Lunenburg Co., Va. to Montgomery Co., Va., to Scott or Lee Co., Va. John married Letitia Blair from Va. and William married Jency Brown. John and William eventually settled in Letcher Co., Ky. His parents are known to have gone on to Morgan Co., Ky.
