I am trying to locate info on BRAXTON CARPENTER who was b: ca. 1806, believed to be Lancaster Co., VA. Rumor has it that he was orphaned at a very early age and was taken in by a Thomas BOTTOMS. They moved to Lincoln Co., TN ca. 1820. Braxton married Sarah ? and they moved to AL where he died after 1880 in Marion Co., AL. Any info will be greatly appreciated.
