I need help with this family.I am seeking information on Robert and Sarah Moore who lived here in 1900's.Robert was a forman for the saw mill S.Euges. Should anyone have any information on this sawmill or where I might attain information?
Robert was born in Va.in 1835 and Sarah who was a Carter or Gray was born in 1856. I have been told that Sarah might be a Gray.Their children were Lizzie,John Willie and Jesse L. all born in the 1880's. Other family names were Faulcon's,maybe Welcon?Lizzie married John Crawley from Nottoway Co, Va.
I have found them on the census of Isle of Wright and Surry, Va. I understand that the Crawley's lived in Surry Co.,Va. as did the Smith family! Willie Smith married Louvinia Crawley there in Surry, Va. Willie was born in 1898 and Louvinia 1905, they were married in the 1920's. I understand his parents to be Minnie and Jack Smith of Surry Co. Va.Willie had a brother name John Andrew Smith. I welcome anyone
